I' ve owned three Volvos an 850 an S70 and my current S60, fortunately all have been incredible autos, never had any mechanical problems with any of them, but with Ford in the picture , they've stolen all of the safety features, designs and incorporated their cheap designs and flaws. Believe me I'm a Volvo man, but the only way I'd buy another Volvo, it'll have to be built entirely in Sweden.The S60 concept is absolutely stunning along with it's safety features and design....this is what sets Volvo apart from the rest of the auto makers!

own a c30 r design and the paintwork is disgustingly thin but i would be tempted to but another volvo if they make the S60 it is simply stunning !!!

Wow!The S60 Concept looks incredible!I can't wait.Iam onto my second Volvo and wouldn't dream of driving anything else.Ican truly identify with the saying "Volvo for life!"

I can say that my family has had 3 Volvos. We all wish the 2 later ones (one 97 s70 and and one 98 s70) performed like the 91 wagon (not diesel, forgot the model number). It is still a great vehicle. I feel very safe in it. I do agree with the comment about declining quality. I sincerely wish it wasn't true, but I couldn't see ever buying a Volvo again, despite being such a staunch advocate for it for years.

That's the first time I've ever heard that. I know several people that own old Volvos and they're all still runing, even though these people pretty much don't know cars at all.

The concept is gorgeous. I love that volvo is introducing some intense curvature into their styling, the rims however look as though they could be placed on any of the new Mazda concepts, maybe I need a closer shot.

Volvo has a reputation for great styling and awful mechanical performance. I owned two and they spent more time in the shop then on the road. I could not afford the maintenance and my next car was a Honda Accord, which I am very happy with

Volvo is succeeding only in making their cars indistinguishable from the rest of the market, when the historical appeal of the brand was their dissimilarity. Instead of building on their heritage by reinventing the straight line, they've festooned this thing from end to end with swoops and curlicues -- just like the Germans. All in all, it's a race to the bottom.
